Dixieland Live!

Dixieland Live! is a medley of four great Dixieland tunes arranged for the Concord Band by Lewis Buckley. Concord Band percussionist Neil Tischler commissioned this work in 2001 in celebration of his 29 years with the Concord Band. The tunes included in the arrangement are “At the Jazz Band Ball,” “The Beale Street Blues,” “The Saint James Infirmary,” and “Tiger Rag.” Composer Lewis Buckley joined the Concord Band playing trumpet in the Dixieland ensemble on the occasion of the Band 50th anniversary concert.
